High school craft fairs may deserve more credit than I've ever given them...

On November 10th this year, Thomas Jefferson High School is hosting their annual craft fair and Pretty Swell Hats will be making their first appearance there!

Nevermind the fact that I am an alumni of the school, TJ has some extra appeal as they expect anywhere from 1000 to 1200 people in attendance. Holy cow, I had no idea!! Apparently they are extremely encouraging of handmade crafters, so think of how much fun stuff you can find there to give out for the holiday season, or even just to bring a little something new into your life. :)

Also important to mention is that as a vendor, all the booth fees go towards helping the school with a scholarship they manage for academic excellence; Rock On! I love the support at an early age, keep showing kids that school is something worth making an effort at!

Are you ready for the cold??!

This winter get yourself properly dressed with some creative handmade accessories!

Some of my favorite things about this time of year are the way the trees change colors, the way the air feels a little crisper, and the fact that it is time to finally pull out my boots and hats!
Over the last year or so, I've been channeling a hobby of mine into a small business: hats! For the longest time, I focused on just making them for friends and family. After enough people asked me where they could buy them though, I decided to see what making a small business would entail... and whalah!

On my site you can see some of the items I currently am selling, but you will also find all the info you should need to contact me if you are interested in something you don't see there! I'm excited about having the ability to custom make hats, and so far the feedback I've gotten seems to agree.

Stay tuned, I'll post more updates and some new accessories soon!!
